Culinary February in Berlin

Valentine’s Day breakfasts, a food festival and the Fruit Logistica fair bring savory and sweet sins to cold February. In addition, we present sports, music and movies.

Our beloved team of Hertha BSC will play matches against Hoffenheim and Mainz on 3 and 16 February respectively. The fans will do their best to support Hertha so that the Berliners will leave the pitch as the winning team.

February is all about music: One top event after the other will take place at Mercedes-Benz Arena: Helene Fischer will be on stage on five evenings from 6 to 11 February and The Killers will round the month off with their concert on 27 February.

Fresh fruits as far as the eye can see: More than 3,000 exhibitors showcase domestic and exotic fruits at Fruit Logistica from 7 to 9 February. In addition, you will find a incredible variety of vegetables, nuts and dried fruits there. Trade visitors can also receive information about greenhouses, stocking, logistics and co.

Valentine’s day, the day of love, is on 14 February. Romantics and couples in love are invited to enjoy the Valentine’s Day Breakfasts including champagne ‘free flow’ at Hotel Palace Berlin on 11 and 18 February – for € 50 per person.

It is time for the Berlinale again! Discover movies from all around the world that will touch you, make you smile or be thought-provoking. If you will not be lucky enough to get tickets, feel free to go star-watching at the red carpet. This year’s jury president is Tom Tykwer who became famous for Run Lola Run. Screenings at various locations in Berlin from 15 to 25 February.

Cats, Starlight Express and Phantom of the Opera are just few of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s world-renowned musicals. On 18 February, the Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala will take place at Admiralspalast. Enjoy two and a half hours of Webber’s best compositions. The show features solists and actors from London’s West End.

Holiday on Ice will be in Berlin from 21 February to 4 March with its show Time. Whether acrobats on ice skates or figure skaters – the colorful show delights young each year. Time takes its visitors to the most beautiful moments in life such as the first kiss or the first great love – fascinating costumes are guaranteed of course!

eat! berlin is on the culinary program for Berlin from 23 February to 4 March. 50 events with more than 60 Berlin chefs, many of them Michelin-starred, are planned on the ten festival days.
