1992/93
Berlin becomes increasingly popular as a travel destination and the Palace reacts to this development: Three new floors are built on top of the existing six of the hotel. The most luxurious suites, for example the Royal Suite with 240 sqm, are built on the ninth floor.
1998
30 years Hotel Palace Berlin and the German capital becomes more interesting for the conference and meetings business: Function rooms for meetings and events are opened on the first floor.
2002
Relexation for body and mind: The 800 sqm Palace SPA opens its doors. Today, it consists of swimming pool, refreshing bubble bath, three saunas, a relexation room, an ice grotto and a gym.
2003/04
The meeting spaces are expanded. The new ballroom distinguishes itself by a ceiling height of five meters. 17 meeting rooms on 2,600 sqm for events from two up to 1,000 people are on offer today.

2012
A modern Club Floor with exclusive Club Lounge is built when renovating the seventh and eighth floors. At the Club Lounge, guests can dine in an intimate atmosphere while enjoying the view of Berlin and its zoo.
2015
The House of Gin, the gin bar at the Hotel Palace Berlin, opens. Guests to the city and Berliners can go on a journey through the world of gin here, as the bar offers 150 different varieties of gin. Gin and Gin & Tonic tastings are on offer here.
2017
The last years were marked by renovations: All rooms and suites in the main building shine in a new and modern light.

The Hotel Palace Berlin celebrates its 50th birthday. In June, the sous-vide restaurant beef 45 opens its doors, and the House of Gin fascinates its guests since September.
